The maps here are beautifully done. I was sold on previous reviews- but I ended up returning this and going with the other very popular atlas -Delorme Here’s why:- the scale on the Delorme is smaller- meaning a square inch of this map covers more actual area than the Delorme. This means the Delorme can provide greater detail.- possibly rated to the scale issue or perhaps a cartographic design choice, small forest roads are very difficult to identify and follow in this atlas. This is precisely why I want a detailed atlas- to navigate extremely rural areas with possibly no cell coverage.So, with the smallest of roads easy to spot, more of them labeled, and a more user-friendly scale for this application, I kept the Delorme and returned this item.

Meh. Bought to replace an old one whose cover was falling off, but also wanted to see updates. Compared it to my older version (2011 I think), and found no significant difference. I was hoping to see a lot of updated back roads in my area, but it all looked pretty much the same. Looked at other areas too just to see, and the two versions were practically identical. I wound up returning it and just putting the old one back together with duct tape. I’d rather put that money toward some more detailed maps of specific areas I’m interested in.

We do a lot of dual sport riding and this map is great for the back roads shows quite a few of the dirt & gravel roads although not all of them so pay attention to road names and distances

This is my fifth benchmark atlas. Love the maps. Wish the binding was better. The cover comes off pretty quickly after one or two road trips. Still usable but disappointing

Benchmark maps are a real find for me ... I love them ... I have all the western states and use them for planning and on the road.

Got this as a gift for my brother. It seems like it is high quality I think he will love it. Lots and lots of details.

Benchmark maps are a must for campers who like to get off the beaten path.
