Another well written book by Alister Begg. I find once I finish reading one of his books I immediately start shopping for for the next. A great way to build a library :-)
Pastor Begg, a phenomenal teacher and speaker, presents the gospel in a straightforward manner. This is a good overview of basic Christian beliefs and is a quick read. This book is in the C.S. Lewis tradition in terms of style and theology.
What a blessing it is to read or listen to this wonderful Christian man. I amAlways blessed by his knowledge and ability to share the gospel.
A wonderful book written in the easy style of Allistair Begg, deep, thoughtful, and delightfully clever prose. It is a resource that truly fulfills the subtitle of "The Basics of True Christianity. It warms your heart, especially if you have been fortunate enough to have heard Rev. Begg speak in person.
the title is misleading, but if you want basic insight and perspective on Christ READ THIS BOOK! It immediately got lent to a serious Christian to add to his belief.
Mr. Begg is wonderful and can explain things clearly without using fire and brimstone.
