I enjoy the step by step part of "How to make Jewelry with Beads: An easy & complete step by step Guide" and hope to use my aquired tools, materials and beads to bring out my artists strengths. If not to just make items for sale, but to stimulate my older brain before it is gone to repetition of words and deads. I enjoy this book.

I chose this rating due to how user friendly it is for the audience was designed for. How clean,was it too wordy, for anyone wanting to try a new hobby, and finally was it able to keep my attention so I can use what was learned.A: user friendly- the book was not designed for anyone wanting to go back and find tool or a basic step unless you knew which chapter it was in. It is not until the end that actual pics of jewelry are demonstrated and the structure of these pieces was not explained well, even the choice of what to use at the end of the stringing they just told you what they were using not why.B: WAY TO WORDY- Pic's are few and they are just as monotone as the voice of the author (beige).C: The worst part was how quickly boredom too!over and I fell asleep. The only time I woke up was to have a disagreement with the spacial setup or color combination.Bottom Line, there are so many intro. books, please pass this one by!!!

I love the picture on the front and thought it would show that project, nope!Once it's in your library, the front picture's changed to a super easy beading project that's still not in the book!This is your VERY basic beading book that starts you at the process. Don't go by the picture on the front and know it doesn't have many projects...smh

The information is very, very basic. The photos are very bad resolution, very small, and many are distorted. The projects that really could use reference photos have none at all. This looks and feels like desktop publishing by an amateur. There are a lot of books on Amazon with much better information for less money.

I purchased this book and was very disappointed in it. The bracelet on the front wasn't even in the book and her other book is the same book with just a different title and picture on the front also which isn't in the book. Very misleading and not worth it!

This book is definitely for beginners. It breaks down all the tools you will need to make your jewelry as well as the sizes & gauges of wire to use. It is a very helpful book for someone who has never made jewelry before. My only disappointment is that it doesn't show how to make the bracelet on the cover. That is the real reason I purchased this book. Other than that, it's a pretty good book to have for references.

I have been crafting for well over 40 years. Most of what I know I've learned from books. I haven't done very much with wire or jewelry making and want to give it a try so I picked up this book.I found the book to be a great resource and the author very knowledgeable. Detailed pictures of the tools needed and the step by step instructions for the craft make this a fantastic teaching book. The author explains what tools are needed and where to purchase them. The steps to making the components for the jewelry are clearly outlined with photos that can be enlarged. After you learn the basics easy projects to get you started are also included. The book is packed full of good useful information and I highly recommend buying if you are interested in learning this craft.

I chose this book because of the picture on the cover. I wanted to make the piece that was pictured. However, it was not offered as a project, nor was anything resembling it. I consider this to be extremely misleading, and will never purchase an item from this person.

Useful only if you're an absolute beginner. Don't let the picture on the cover fool you as it did me. No beading patterns are included; it focused mostly on wireworking for the beginner (making a eye loop, etc.).
