Dan Juster sheds light on the Tanakh, the Hebrew language, the covenants, the calendars, the feasts, and the traditions as means of grace that point to Messiah, not as the works-based righteousness that is espoused by Rabbinic Judaism. From this understanding, the reader will be able to jettison the Hellenistic mindset that had been later imposed on Christianity, and begin to understand the Hebrew mind, which we need to understand the full counsel of God.

I've lived and worked in the Middle East (particularly Israel) for 3 years. If you are interested in Jewish Roots, Dan helps give a lot of depth and brings understanding to the subject. Especially when expounding on some tough thought provoking issues. Having met Dan as well, I've seen that he has a deep care for people and desire for people to know GOD and Jesus more.

A decent book elaborating on the roots of chritianity, the persecution of the Jewish people as it relates to church history. the only thing i don't like about the book is the author seems to believe Torah observance is only for people of Jewish ethnicity. One can see this opinion in how he describes the relationship between Jewish and non-Jewish followers of Yeshua and their observance of the Moedim.
